Education is a very important aspect of our business model and these classes provide an in depth cheese education that we can’t possibly give over the counter. Classes are always small in size but mighty in fun and deliciousness. Classes are usually scheduled on the third Wednesday, with a start time of 6:30.

Cheddar Class- October 18th 2017 7:30pm
Cheddar: a battle royale!
From it’s humble start in France during pre-Roman times to it’s cheese super star status of today. We’ll look at the different styles from clothbound to loaf and everything in-between. Who has the best tasting cheddar, Wisconsin or Vermont? We will be tasting a variety of cheddars and their pairings..some classic and some far out! Class size is limited to 20 people: call or visit the shop to register.

The Art of the Holiday platter- Nov 15th and Dec 20th 2017 7:30pm

Alpine- February 7th 2018 7:30
Truly a winter cheese! In-depth discussion about the cheese that gets a bad rep due to slimy deli cheese (swiss). Learn how this cheese is so unique, and how it has, quite possibly, the most romantic, bucolic origin story of all cheeses! We will be tasting a variety of Alpine cheeses and as a finale, experiencing the swiss tradition of Raclette. Class size is limited to 20, so please call or stop by the shop to register.

Blue- March 21st 2018 6:30
Blue lovers rejoice! This class will explore the history and the make of all cheese blue. Experiment with out of the box pairings with this love it or hate it cheese. (We love it!)

Prosciutto 101-May 16th 2016 6:30pm
This cured meat process pre-dates Roman times. Learn about history of Prosciutto, taste the different prosciutti from the case in a unique vertical tasting. The prosciutti in the case range from pork to duck! Class size is at a 20 person maximum. Calls us or stop by the shop to register for this unique opportunity!

Gouda- June 20th 2018 6:30pm
It’s all gouda! Sheep, goat, and Cow’s milk…who knew there were so many different kinds..well, we did!!
History of gouda, the make process and of course A LOT of gouda to taste, this class will be limited to 20 people.
$40 per person includes an adult beverage, a ton of gouda and pairings, and of course, 20% all gouda at the end of class.
